We’re now seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Building Coordinator to join us in a part-time, office-based role. This position spans both pre-site and on-site support — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, has a keen eye for process, and genuinely cares about the client journey from start to finish.
What You’ll Be Doing
Pre-Site Coordination
Manage documentation for site start (contracts, permits, approvals, insurances, selections, variations, etc.)
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, trades, and the internal team to keep things moving
Spot potential delays and proactively address issues before they impact progress
Contribute to workflow improvements and streamline pre-site processes
Build and refine helpful client resources (e.g. onboarding guides and checklists)
On-Site & Construction Support
Help coordinate trades, material orders, and site activity alongside our Construction Manager
Keep clients updated with progress reports, photos, and calls
Manage post-contract variations and maintain accurate documentation
Support inspections, handovers, and walk-throughs
Assist in refining construction systems and documentation
Client Experience & Process Development
Be a consistent, friendly point of contact throughout the build
Answer questions, provide updates, and ensure clients feel supported at every step
Gather feedback and help improve our service delivery
Build out internal checklists, systems, and manuals to future-proof our processes
Collaborate with the leadership team to enhance the overall client experience
About You
1–2+ years of experience in residential construction coordination, client liaison, or project admin preferred
Comfortable working across both pre-construction and construction stages
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using (or learning) construction CRMs or project management tools
Proactive, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
