What you will be doing
You will help to manage and coordinate travel arrangements for staff. This role requires travel industry experience and involves organising commercial flights, charters and assisting with reviewing expenses and processing travel credits. Strong attention to detail, adaptability and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in travel booking systems and a high level of customer service.
What You Will Need
To excel in this role, you'll bring a solid background in travel coordination. A strong understanding of flight logistics, including charter bookings, commercial flight coordination and management of travel credits will be essential. You will need to operate confidently in a fast-paced environment to ensure the seamless coordination of FIFO personnel across multiple sites around Australia.
You will also need:
Proven experience managing complex flight travel itineraries, including commercial and charter bookings
Prior use of charter booking systems
Ability to run, interpret, and act on travel reports to optimise scheduling and cost-efficiency
Strong knowledge of travel credits, including how to apply and reconcile them within systems
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, tracking, and analysis
Experience using travel management systems
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy when handling booking information
Flexibility and adaptability to manage last-minute changes, disruptions, or urgent travel needs
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of customer service
A proactive mindset, with the ability to problem-solve under pressure
