Experienced Strata Account Executive / Insurance Broker required for a brokerage in Melbourne

This is a well-established and growing insurance brokerage that is looking to hire an experienced Strata Account Executive for their team. With a strong presence across the country, the company offers a wide range of personal and commercial insurance products designed to meet the needs of its clients.

Your new role

• Manage Owners Corporation renewals and new policy placements
• Maintain client relationships through regular contact and site visits
• Advise on coverage, limits, and risk exposures
• Negotiate terms with underwriters and finalise documentation
• Identify uninsured risks and suggest coverage improvements
• Submit monthly reports on business activity and debtors
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures
• Stay current with training and industry developments
• Support team collaboration and mentor junior staff
• Handle documentation and follow-ups to ensure smooth policy management

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in insurance broking, ideally within commercial or strata sectors
• Familiarity with a range of insurance products and client types
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with underwriters and clients
• Solid understanding of risk exposures across different industries
• Comfortable working with SME, mid-market, or Owners Corporation insurance
• Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment
• Tier 1 FSRA compliance or willingness to obtain accreditation
• Experience mentoring or collaborating with team members is a plus.
