As an IT Support Analyst at the Tasmania Football Club (TFC), you’ll play a key role in bringing our technology infrastructure and systems to life. You’ll get to help set the club’s tech foundation as well as influence an exciting range of future technology projects.
With TFC entering the AFL and AFLW, we’re building something historic. From launching our new workspace, to building our leading-edge fan engagement platforms and working with the latest in sports technology, this role gives you a rare opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation sporting journey—and to grow your tech career while doing it.
Your Role
We’re looking for a passionate technologist – someone who doesn’t mind jumping in the deep end and getting their hands dirty across a wide range of technology. You’ll be building, supporting and exploring a wide range of technology solutions across all areas of the Club encompassing infrastructure, applications and devices. You’ll work on a diverse range of projects that enable the Club’s success and provide TFC staff with a reliable, secure and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- End User Computing - Configure and deploy new hardware and software and provide ongoing support (Windows and macOS).
- Network and Infrastructure – Configure and support LANs, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewalls.
- Security – Manage user permissions and group policies. Implement SSO, MFA and endpoint protection.
- Assets – Maintain Asset Register. Manage video conferencing, NAS and software licensing. Liaise with external vendors for issues/warranty.
- Applications – Manage M365, SharePoint, Outlook and maintain awareness of broader application landscape.
- Documentation – Maintain policies, support documentation and internal knowledgebase.
Skills and Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra etc.
- Experience in similar IT support or service desk roles.
- Experience supporting a wide range of SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with SSO, MFA and general security principles.
- Excellent communication skills and love being part of a team.
- Understanding of networking, LANs, VPN, NAS, UPS etc.

- Full-time (2-year fixed-term contract)
- Based in Hobart, with occasional travel and out-of-hours work
