We are an innovative multi-disciplinary spine rehabilitation practice developed by medical specialists with extensive knowledge and experience treating patients with spinal conditions and back pain. The expert multidisciplinary team includes Clinical Nurses, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Massage Therapists. They are supported by a group of medical specialists including Spine Surgeons, Pain Physicians, Occupational and Rehabilitation Specialists, Psychologists and Musculoskeletal Radiologists.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
An experienced Exercise Physiologist is required to fill this 10-month parental leave position. You must have experience working with patients with spinal conditions in a clinical environment and possess sound clinical reasoning skills, inter-disciplinary communication, and high emotional intelligence.
In collaboration with our other healthcare professionals, you must be proficient in developing exercise programs based on a patient’s current medical status to ensure the exercise program is both safe and effective in achieving the required health goals. You must also provide advanced health and physical activity education, advice, motivation and support to help people lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Qualified Exercise Physiologist to fill a 10-month parental leave position
Qualification of a 4-year Bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Exercise Physiologist
Current ESSA registration
Professional indemnity and liability insurance
Impeccable standards of personal presentation and hygiene
Comfortable and competent with digital communication
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
Minimum 30 hours per week part-time position for a fixed 10-month term (1 Sep 2025-5 Jul 2026) then ongoing 15 hours casual job-share with returning 'parental leave' employee
Indicative hourly income of $40-$43 per hour depending on relevant experience
Must be available to work Monday to Friday
