About the role:

PAD Recruitment is seeking a talented Project Leader (Architect) to join one of Brisbane's most successful property development and building organisations, established for over 25 years+. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part as a Project Leader, leading architectural projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with the internal team, which includes the in-house builders and consultants to bring their visions to life.

What you'll be doing:

Collaboration with consultants for design development on assigned projects.

Collaborate with construction project teams.

Oversee documentation & Shop drawing review.

Delivery of compliant concept, DA, BA, for tender and IFC.

Design Management.

Safety in design process and reports.

Manage and delegate ongoing changes to working drawings and consultant documentation during construction.

Manage consultants (including D+C consultants) meet program milestones.

Ensure compliance of documentation and construction with DA conditions.

Work with the design and planning teams lead to train and develop new and existing staff, from onboarding to new and updated processes.

Assistance with concept designs for mixed use developments.

Coordination of consultant documentation onto working drawings.

Preparation of building specifications and finishes schedules.

What they're looking for:

10 years + experience and proficiency in multi-residential and mixed-use design, construction detailing and support for commercial builder or design firm.

5 years + experience in Revit.

Ability to assist in directing a team of Design Technicians.

Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards.

Architecture degree or open-license building designer license.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Excellent understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes

Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously
