About the role
MCJ Maintenance & Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Brisbane.

This fulltime role will require you to repair and service a variety of heavy trucks and trailers and will include:

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs

Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing problems as required

Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems

Completing repair tasks such as parts replacement, rebuilding, and adjustments to keep our fleet & customers fleets operating at optimum levels

Maintaining detailed records of all service and repair work carried out on our system

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth operation of our business

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Mechanical Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic is essential

Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic POST TRADE

Australian License

Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Excellent mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Good communication and customer service skills

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety

ADVANTAGEOUS- Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning
