We have several opportunities for qualified In Home Care Support Workers and are offering casual or permanent opportunities in New Norfolk, Sorrell, Kingston, Snug, Huonville, Bridgewater, Brighton, Hobart and New Town and suburbs close to these areas.
We have 15 roles for Qualified workers in and around the Hobart area. These roles are primarily for Disability clients however there is some Aged Care support work also included. We require qualified people looking to work Monday to Friday between 7am-11pm and those interested in occasional weekend and sleep over shifts (Weekend rates start at $62.14 per hour for qualified workers)
We are looking for team members who are committed to providing the best quality outcomes for our clients, are reliable and have flexibility across the week and weekends. Our Support Workers provide 1:1 support to our Aged and or Disability clients across the Hobart area working alongside our dedicated team of Nurses, Community Support Professionals and other partners. This role provides our clients their clinical and day to day support needs to reach their goals.
Whilst experience in the sector is preferred, on the job training is available to help you jump-start your career. A Certificate III or IV in aged care or disability is desirable but not essential as we have plenty of shifts for non-qualified workers!
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability) preferred. Different pay rates apply for qualified/unqualified workers.

What you will need:
Essential
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Smartphone with internet access
Proof of Working Rights in Australia
Up to date vaccinations
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Highly skilled in the used of different technologies and open to new learning programs
High levels of empathy and a good understanding of business operational needs
Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Physical capability to assist with manual handling and personal care tasks
