Our client, a leading Australian provider of power and energy solutions is seeking a motivated and capable Workshop Manager to lead operations at their Perth-based workshop, located near the airport. With a strong national presence and a reputation for technical excellence, this business is growing and evolving.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrician, mechanic, or technician who’s ready to take the next step in their career, moving off the tools into a leadership and business management role, while still staying connected to the technical side of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the technical workshop team to ensure continuous skill advancement.

Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised workshop environment.

Coordinate workshop scheduling and field service operations.

Support apprentice training and foster a high-performance culture.

Identify training needs, facilitate in-house development, and support induction programs.

Contribute to the development of first-response service teams.

Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.

Report operational improvements and support broader business objectives.

Collaborate with senior leadership on monthly reporting and strategic input.

What You’ll Need:

Trade qualification (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)

Experience leading or mentoring teams in a workshop or field setting

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to manage scheduling and work coordination

Australian working rights

A desire to grow into a broader business management role

Benefits:

Salary $140,000–$160,000 + fully maintained work ute + fuel card
