Our Client, a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry, are currently seeking an additional Production Worker to join their team on an contract to permanent basis.

The Role:
Located in Middle Swan, this role will see you reporting directly to the Production Supervisor working amongst the fixed-plant machinery in the manufacturing facility. You will be required to complete the following duties:

• Monitoring and operating factory machinery / equipment (Kilns and press operator)
• Isolating machinery in the case of process or mechanical issues
• Following quality control procedures
• Adhering to safety protocols, attending toolbox meetings

Requirements:

• Previous machine operating experience / factory environment
• Must have a current driver's licence and own vehicle to get to work
• Ability to work on a continuous shift roster (days and nights)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
• Forklift License
• Be a permanent resident of Australia with full work rights (sorry no holiday visas)

Roster & Remuneration:
You will be required to work on a continuous shift-pattern roster comprising of 12-hour shifts on an 84-hour fortnight, 7-shifts per fortnight. (Days & Nights)

Hourly rate of $42 p/hr. Should you work outside your usual shift pattern then double time will apply for the whole shift.
