(Rate of pay and super effective 1 July 2025)

Melton City Council offers an incredible opportunity for a Learning & Development (L&D) Administration Officer to join an established and high performing team. Reporting to the Team Leader – Learning, you will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of training, preparation and management of learning resources, management of the learning management system (LMS), monthly reporting, attend to L&D helpdesk queries and create and maintain the annual training calendar. This is a newly created role, giving you the chance to shape it and make it your own.
If interested, you will also be upskilled in instructional design to develop engaging, interactive and self-paced eLearning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the L&D inbox and be the first point of contact for all L&D queries.
- Manage and maintain accurate records within the LMS and other data platforms.
- End-to-end training coordination, including sourcing venues / location for training, schedule workshops, register employees for training, preparing training resources, organise catering and administer pre and post training activities.
- Partner with external training providers to coordinate course delivery and maintain compline with regulatory requirements.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Proficient in using and managing a Learning Management System (LMS) to track training completions and generate reports.
- Strong organisational and administration skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, quality and thoroughness in work tasks.
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including trainers, employees, and external training providers.
