The role
The Dispatch Officer is responsible for the coordination and administration of service requests and work orders relating to emergency reactive and preventative maintenance work activities for the Gippsland Water staff and Contractors, with the objective of ensuring a high level of customer service is provided within regulatory guidelines, industry standards and Gippsland Water policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring
Well-developed time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A demonstrated ability to work effectively with computer-based technology.
The ability to resolve customer enquiries and complaints and manage customer relationships.
The demonstrated ability to achieve team objectives by working and participating as part of a team as well autonomously.
The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm to learn, the ability to apply new knowledge and skills to work practices and will be able to adapt to a changing work environment.
