About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Assistant / Fleet Controller to join a team of 3. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of metropolitan logistics, a sharp eye for detail, and solid organisational skills.

Key areas of focus for the role includes:

• Monitor and manage fleet movement throughout the metro area
• Coordinate logistics and assist with scheduling and route planning
• Support compliance with fatigue management and driving hour regulations
• Ensure vehicles are operating within weight and mass management limits
• Communicate with drivers and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations

The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Strong knowledge of the city metro area
• Excel proficiency and general computer literacy
• Understanding of fatigue management and driver hour compliance
• Knowledge of truck weights, loading procedures, and mass management
• Rail experience is a plus, but not essential
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
