About the role
We're on the lookout for an experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team! This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strong balance of people management and process control. You'll work closely with the Production Managers to plan and coordinate staffing and production workflows while upholding the highest food safety and quality standards.

You'll also play a key role in creating SOPs and Work Instructions, helping your team understand how to set up, operate, and troubleshoot across your area.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the work of different departments to meet daily and weekly targets

Monitor and maintain product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process

Identify and resolve any production issues or bottlenecks in a timely manner

Provide on-the-job training and development for production staff

Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety and environmental regulations

Collaborate with other departments to optimise production workflow and procedures

Maintain accurate records and generate detailed production reports

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervisor or team leader role within the food manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control and process improvement principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate production teams

Ability to work well under pressure and make timely decisions to maintain efficient operations

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve production issues

Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP principles

Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tool

Must have permanent right to work in Australia and be able to pass police background check
