We are a leading Not for Profit organisation with a service delivery area spanning from Wollongong to Eden, across to the Snowy Mountains.
Comprising 8 offices and over 75 employees, we own and manage over $1 billion worth of assets, over 2,300 dwellings housing over 5,000 people.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Schedule and oversee weekly and quarterly inspections for Housing Officers, handling bookings and processing NCAT orders efficiently.
Ensure inspection reports meet all standards, including smoke alarm photos and test comments, and follow up on any incomplete reports.
Manage communication by checking emails and responding to calls from Housing Officers, Centralised Call Centre, Support Services, and Real Estates. Keep Housing Officers updated on time-sensitive changes during inspections.
Review tenant documentation, request additional information when needed, and manage data for reporting and analysis.
Provide support to tenants and Housing Officers
Handle various ad hoc administrative tasks, including providing valuation letters, BlueCHP inspection reports, and other special requests.
Complete Routine Inspections if required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous Scheduling experience (desired)
Highly developed organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Outstanding customer service skills, both in person and over the phone.
Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Detailed understanding of the needs of individuals accessing Social and Affordable Housing, including those from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Willingness to participate in professional development.
Essential Qualifications and Licensing:
Current NSW Drivers licence
Current Working with Children Check
Criminal record check providing suitable clearance to work with vulnerable members of the community
About the Role & Perks of the Job:
A permanent (35 hrs p.w.) role located in our Nowra office.
Typically, your hours would be worked over 5 days – however, SCH offers flexibility to our staff, providing you with the option to work your hours in 4 days! If that’s not for you, instead you have the opportunity to accrue and utilise TIL.
