About the Role
As the Director of Learning and Teaching, you will play a key role in shaping the school’s educational vision and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all students. You will work closely with staff, students, and the leadership team to enhance pedagogy, curriculum design, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
Oversee curriculum planning and assessment across all year levels.
Support and mentor teachers to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant educational standards and regulations.
Drive continuous improvement in academic achievement and student engagement.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning among staff and students.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Hold or be eligible for NESA accreditation and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
A strong background in curriculum leadership and teaching excellence.
A deep understanding of contemporary educational research and best practices.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of timetabling processes.
Proven experience in staff development and instructional coaching.
A commitment to the values and ethos of independent education.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in education and school leadership.
