Due to demand for our services, we have an opening for a PhD graduate to add their skills to our team. The role is to be based in Sydney, with a mix of working from home and our offices in St Leonard's. You will be involved in cutting edge simulations of complicated business operations to help our major clients. You will also have the chance to work on scheduling and optimisation problems. As we increasingly provide bespoke, technical applications to our clients we particularly welcome those with additional background or interest in software development.

We seek enthusiastic and bright candidates with the following:

• PhD qualifications in one of the hard sciences (eg physics, maths, biology or chemistry).
• Advanced statistical and analytical abilities.
• Fluency in Python, with ability and willingness to learn further tools and packages.

Experience in any of these areas will also be viewed highly:

• Discrete event simulation packages preferred (e.g. JaamSim Pro, Anylogic, Arena or ExtendSim).
• Mathematical optimisation and scheduling.
• Software development
• Our key sectors, particularly mining.
