The Role & Business

Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will be responsible for the management of the pre-construction of projects ranging $70M - $500M. Their core business is within the Commercial sector. Currently turning over more than $700M in NSW and Victoria, you will be supported by a dedicated Estimating Manager. Your responsibilities will cover the development & conversion of bids, part of a 'go/no go' strategy, mentoring junior staff, developing existing Client relationships & overseeing the thorough and quality submission of tenders.

The Builder have extensive construction experience and a large percentage of their work is won through negotiated tender and ECI processes as opposed to open tenders and can look back upon Client Relationships lasting more than a generation. They have an inclusive attitude towards employment and expect their staff to treat others with common manners and respect. They know who they are, feel their reputation attracts people to work for the business for the long term and are not looking to reinvent the wheel, rather evolve the business continually to ensure they stay ahead of current market trends.

Qualifications & Experience

You will be working with recognised commercial Builder in Australia with a minimum 5 years within the same business

You will have experience pricing jobs from start to finish - Ideally $50M +

You will be able to demonstrate strong longevity of employment with recognised names in the NSW Construction market

You will have strong people management skills, solid client relationship attributes and a professional and calm demeanor

You will be able to produce strong references from key stakeholders including Clients & Employers

A tertiary qualification in Construction will be of value but not essential
