Specialist Govt agency in Western Sydney requires an experienced Senior Management Accountant. Temp Contract.

Focused on community wellbeing, this specialist Government organisation services communities right across NSW. Due to internal opportunities, the finance team are now recruiting for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their corporate team. Centrally located in Western Sydney with flexible work options available. Up to 12 months with potential extensions.

Your new role

Working closely with Finance and Business Unit leaders, your key duties as Senior Management Accountant will include:

• Monthly reporting in relation to budgeting, cashflow and balance sheet
• Financial Modelling and Analysis
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Forward estimates
• Providing advice on potential financial issues and support for strategic decision making
• Partnering with stakeholders on budget interpretation, insights and recommendations
• Recognising and recommending opportunities to streamline processes for smoother financial reporting

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role within a large complex organisations
• CPA or CA qualified
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SAP and PRIME experience preferable but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong stakeholder relationship development and management
