Cazaly Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Project Geologist to advance a great gold exploration project in the Goldfields. We are looking for an experienced Project Geologist to join the team and drive our exploration success.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Science in Geology

5-7 years' experience: Greenfields mineral exploration to resource development drilling

Experience working remotely in field-based exploration camps

Experience working with various exploration datasets and ability to conduct geological interpretation and develop working geological models

Good understanding of QAQC procedures, drilling and sampling practices and standard gold industry laboratory analytical methods

Proficient with GIS and logging software (e.g. Micromine, QGIS)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Has a current Australian C class manual driver's license

Has undertaken 4WD training and is experienced in driving off road (preferred)

First aid certificate (preferred)

Tasks & Responsibilities

Commitment to working safely and the promotion of safe working practices with colleagues and contractors

Planning, permitting, implementation, and efficient management of exploration programs, including drilling, in a timely and safe manner

Supervision of personnel to produce high quality geological logging of drill chips and core

Effective communication and leadership of field staff and contractors

Assessment of exploration results and recommendations for further work

Generate and interpret targets utilising geological, geochemical and geophysical data

Geological modelling and technical reporting

Project Generation

Compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting

Reports to the Exploration Manager or nominated person

9 day fortnight (optional)

Eligibility

Candidates must meet our pre-employment criteria which includes a medical, drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work and valid Australian national police clearance.
