Role overview:

We are seeking experienced Cloud Architects to support a large federal government agency with the delivery of key initiatives under a Cyber Security and ICT Operational Uplift program. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in advising on cloud architecture design and delivery, defining secure and scalable solutions using Infrastructure as Code and containerisation, and producing high-quality technical documentation

We are ideally looking for a permanent employee for this role, with an attractive salary package on offer.

The role will be responsible for:

Leading and contributing to cloud architecture design and delivery in collaboration with senior technical teams.

Defining scalable, secure cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerisation.

Producing and reviewing technical documentation including designs, architecture, and operating procedures.

Facilitating workshops and planning sessions to align program vision, scope, and objectives.

Engaging with senior stakeholders to manage expectations, timelines, and resource commitments.

Evaluating technology options and delivering secure, standards-aligned solutions in a classified environment.

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in:

Cloud architecture and solution design

Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)

Containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Cyber security frameworks and secure architecture design

Technical documentation and stakeholder engagement

Project planning and delivery in secure environments

Australian citizenship and a minimum NV2 clearance
