About the role
Are you a technology professional with substantial hands-on experience in one or more areas of networking, cloud, or cybersecurity? BluBiz is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team and play a vital role in designing and delivering secure, scalable, and future-ready technology solutions.

While we don’t expect candidates to be experts in all three domains, we are seeking someone with deep technical knowledge in at least one area and a willingness to broaden their capability across adjacent technologies. We believe that technically strong professionals are well-positioned to effectively contribute to pre-sales, delivery, and managed services outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Discovery

Engage with clients to understand their current environment, technical challenges, and future goals.

Present solutions in networking, cloud, and cybersecurity, demonstrating technical depth and value.

Act as a trusted advisor from initial conversations through to project delivery and beyond.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.

Solution Design & Delivery Support

Design secure and scalable solutions across SD-WAN, SASE, cloud infrastructure, and security architectures.

Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and solution documentation, including BOMs, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Support RFP responses and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and execution.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with sales, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment and shared success.

Provide guidance on emerging technologies and recommend improvements in architecture and security posture.

Contribute to internal capability development through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains: networking, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.

Specific experience across:

- Networking: LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, Firewalls, SD-WAN, and SASE

- Cybersecurity: Threat detection, prevention, and response, SIEM/SOC, GRC frameworks

- Cloud: Assessment, migration, and securing workloads across Azure and AWS, Identity & Access Management

Strong understanding of technologies from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Microsoft.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust Architecture.

Experience with SIEM/SOC environments and governance, risk & compliance (GRC).

Excellent client communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts.

Experience preparing solution documentation and architecture diagrams.

Certifications (Essential and Preferred)

We value candidates who bring depth in at least one of the core technology domains (cloud, networking, or security). While it's not necessary to hold certifications across all vendors, relevant certifications in one or more of the following areas are strongly regarded.

Essential (any of the following):

Microsoft (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer)

Cisco (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)

Fortinet (e.g., NSE4 or above)

Palo Alto (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE)

Highly Desirable:

CISSP or an equivalent cybersecurity certification

We’re also open to strong candidates who are actively working towards certifications and have equivalent hands-on experience.
