We are committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the complexities of Australian immigration law with clarity and care. Due to growing client demand, we are seeking a Registered Migration Agent or an unrestricted Migration Lawyer to join our dedicated team.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Migration Agent or unrestricted Migration Lawyer to provide high-quality migration advice and support to our clients. You will manage a caseload across a wide range of visa categories including student, partner, employer-sponsored, and skilled visas. For unrestricted migration lawyers, we are open to discussing collaboration with a law firm to manage migration litigation matters in partnership with PRACON.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely migration advice in accordance with current Australian immigration laws and policies

Prepare, lodge, and manage visa applications and supporting documentation

Maintain current knowledge of migration legislation and Department of Home Affairs requirements

Communicate with clients, the Department, and other relevant stakeholders throughout each matter

Ensure strict compliance with the MARA Code of Conduct (for agents) or relevant legal professional standards (for lawyers), and maintain detailed case records

About You

Registered with OMARA (Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority) or admitted as an unrestricted Australian legal practitioner with migration law experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a migration advisory or legal role

Not currently operating your own migration or visa-related business (unless as part of a law firm open to collaboration)

Strong understanding of Australian visa subclasses and migration law

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines

Proficiency in migration case management systems (desirable)

Salary

The base salary is open and negotiable, depending on your experience, qualifications, and the nature of the engagement.

For Registered Migration Agents, a competitive base salary (previously $7,500/month) plus performance incentives and superannuation is available.

For unrestricted Migration Lawyers or law firms, remuneration and collaboration terms will be discussed and tailored to suit the arrangement, including the potential for partnership in migration litigation matters.
