We are seeking a Permanent Mine Systems Technician to join a leading mining operation and provide hands-on support for a broad range of OT and comms infrastructure.

This is a site-based FIFO role on a 2:1 roster (days only), ideal for someone with a strong background in operational technology support, networking, and in-vehicle systems within a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair OT systems across site

Perform root cause analysis and resolve faults in digital radio, network, and fleet systems

Maintain and support microwave, mesh wireless (Cambium, Cisco), and solar-powered infrastructure

Support fleet systems (Titan, GPS, Wenco preferred), CCTV, and trailer/skid setups

Work closely with your back-to-back to ensure continuity and consistent documentation

Contribute to system improvements and the wider ICT/OT strategy

Microwave point-to-point backhaul systems

Fleet systems: Titan, GPS, and Wenco (preferred)

Cisco switching & networking

Solar skids/trailers and CCTV systems

Skills & Qualifications:

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)

ACMA Open Cabling Registration

First Aid & C Class Driver's Licence

HRWL - EWP, Dogging (desirable)

Proven experience supporting mining OT and comms infrastructure

Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation

Familiarity with Windows-based IT systems and networking principles
