Our Engineering team runs cross-functional squads, with each squad taking on a key project as well as looking after ad hoc tickets as they occur. As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you'll report to the QA Team Lead.

Your role will involve meticulously testing all software enhancements, developments, and new features, ensuring any potential oversights are swiftly identified and rectified before being released to our customers.

In this role you will:

Manually test all new releases, developments, and software improvements.

Report your findings (positive and negative) to other members in the development team.

Perform tests across multiple workforce management areas including rostering, time sheeting, foundU custom apps, design and payroll.

Work alongside developers, systems engineers and integration leads across design, implementation, integration, and test phases.

Ensure First Time Quality is delivered to customers in developing test plans and executing procedures within complex technical and programmatic environments.

Liaise with fellow developers and product owners regarding new releases/developments.

Assist other team members as required.

Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong foundation in quality assurance and testing practices.

The ability to complete complex technical test activities with precision and attention to detail.

The capacity to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and manage time to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with a proactive mindset.

A solid understanding of the software development life cycle and its impact on testing.

Hands-on experience writing comprehensive manual test suites and clear, actionable test cases.

The ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively, and to collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues.

Deep knowledge of test methodologies, execution strategies, and best practices in verification.

A strong grasp of both software development and software testing processes, particularly in integration and verification.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to share insights with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll get bonus points if you have:

Experience working on a variety software development projects.

Knowledge of Australian HR/Payroll.

Experience creating automated tests.
