One Forecast Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced full time Systems Test Analyst to be based in our Brisbane office.

One Forecast is an Australian reseller of the SYSPRO ERP platform and its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) module. One Forecast sells and implements software for medium to large Supply Chain and Manufacturing companies in Australia.

The role will focus on the testing of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) as well as supporting existing customers who use MES. The incumbent will work closely with One Forecast Business Analysts in a supporting role to understand user requirements and technical specifications of their MES software. The position will complete detailed reviews of systems, data and documentation to aid with writing test plans and systems testing of the various module of the MES platforms. This will require detailed knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes, systems and procedures.

The Systems Test Analyst will take part in the iterative testing and review process of these configuration and customisations together with the Project Managers and Business Analysts of One Forecast’s Customer Project teams.

The position carries with it a salary of $90,000 plus super.

Responsibilities

Understanding and analysing the requirements for MES systems to ensure they are testable and meet the business needs.

Developing comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule for testing activities.

Creating detailed test cases and test scripts based on the requirements and design documents.

Performing various types of testing such as functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure the MES system functions correctly.

Finding, logging, and tracking defects using defect management tools, and working with the development team to resolve them.

Conducting performance and load testing to ensure the MES system can handle the expected volume of transactions and users.

Preparing and supporting test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of the MES system.

Ensuring that the MES system follows industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Skills or Experience Required

· A relevant degree and at least 3 years relevant experience

· Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, continuous improvement, material workflows and production/manufacturing systems

· Experience working within factories on production lines and production process improvement and materials management.
