About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and self motivated administration assistant with a current NSW drivers license to assist in our busy Outpatient Rehabilitation department.

Your duties will include:

· Managing a busy Outpatient reception/admission desk

· Organise patient appointments, payments and manage patient flow

· Admitting & Discharging patients

· Health fund eligibility checks

· Answering, redirecting calls

· Scheduling doctors appointments

· Booking patient transport and assisting with patient transport as/when necessary.

Essential attributes:

· Previous hospital experience

· Knowledge of health fund contracts

· Previous experience in Patient Information Systems eg Webpas

· High level of accuracy and experience to work to tight deadlines

· High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload efficently

· Excellent customer service skills

· Current NSW Driver License, clean driving record and willing to drive hospital car when required
