About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Administration Assistant to join our team at Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Ltd in Bowral, NSW for 2 days per week. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our busy botanic gardens.

What you'll be doing

Providing extra administrative support for our current admin officer and the CEO

Assisting with the coordination of events, meetings, and other activities

Maintaining and updating databases and filing systems

Providing customer service to visitors and volunteers

Support the marketing and promotion of the gardens including through various digital avenues

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in an administrative or office support role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

A flexible approach to work, working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and WordPress

Proficiency with Social media
