Frenchams Wholesale Nursery is seeking an full-time Production Nursery Assistant to join our small team in Mariginiup. This position requires a self-motivated, hands-on person who has a positive attitude and is reliable.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Plant production & general nursery duties

Use of tractors and nursery machinery

Preparing plants for dispatch

Selecting and picking plants for orders

Quality control

Propagation

Labelling, pruning, staking, fertilising and weeding plants

Key Attributes

Horticultural knowledge or an interest in plants or learning horticulture would be beneficial

Be fit and healthy (physically demanding role)

Ability to work outside throughout the year

Willing to work in a team environment

Follows directions easily

Self-motivated with initiative to take action

Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation

Knowledge and experience with nursery machinery an advantage

Forklift & HR license advantageous, but not essential
