About the roles

These full-time Stores & Logistics Officer roles (we have two available) at Flight One Engineering, based in Archerfield, Queensland, offer an opportunity to join a leading team in the general aviation industry. Working alongside your Team Leader, in this position you will play a key role in the organisation's procurement, conformance, storage and distribution operations in support of our aircraft engineers.

What you'll be doing

Deliver the efficient and organised storage, retrieval and distribution of inventory and materials including avionics, aircraft parts and general commercial stock requirements for our two busy Archerfield hangars.

Perform stock takes and maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements and locations in accordance with our CASA Part 145 requirements.

Pick, pack and dispatch orders promptly to ensure timely delivery to our engineers who may be working under tight timelines to get aircraft back in the sky.

Receive and unload incoming deliveries, checking quantity and quality of products in accord with our approved processes.

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively (if you have the necessary licences - not mandatory for application).

Support the coordination and scheduling of transportation and distribution activities.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of inventory and logistics processes.

What we're ideally looking for

Some prior experience in a stores or logistics role, preferably in a transport environment.

Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software (we use Aerotrack).

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The salary range advised reflects that we will accept a range of experience and qualifications during application, and will negotiate according to what you bring to the table. We are looking for a candidate who understands the importance of process and compliance as a contributor to safety, and will provide training to ensure our systems are understood and straightforward to work with.
