The Role

As a Civil Engineer, you’ll oversee and execute key infrastructure projects, managing trenching, pit and pipe installation, directional drilling, and more. You’ll coordinate teams and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all builds.

What You’ll Do

Plan and oversee civil works related to telecommunications infrastructure

Manage excavation operations, including trenching and concrete cutting

Conduct feasibility assessments and site inspections

Collaborate with surveyors, splicing technicians, and cable haulers

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards

Work with government agencies, utility providers, and clients for seamless project execution

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Minimum one year experience in civil or telecom infrastructure (NBN or fibre projects highly desirable)

Knowledge of pit and pipe installation, trenching, and reinstatement methods

Familiarity with NBN and Telstra network standards and ACMA regulations

Required: White Card and Australian Driver's License

Preferred: ACMA Fibre Endorsement, Working at Heights, and EWP certifications

Problem-solving mindset with a passion for safety, efficiency, and quality

Strong communication and project coordination skills
