About the Role:

Are you a qualified Electrical Engineer with an Electrical Licence and experience in High Voltage systems? NES Fircroft is partnering with a global leader in power and automation to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support service and commissioning projects across Australia.

In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites and workshops, carrying out installation, commissioning, repairs, and maintenance on high-voltage switchgear. You'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality service solutions while identifying opportunities for improved performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work on HV switchgear in transmission and generation applications

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery

Coordinate end-to-end service activities, liaising with customers and internal teams

Prepare accurate safety, technical, and financial reports

Support sales with technical input and identify service growth opportunities

Take part in product training to build expertise and develop as a product specialist

What We’re Looking For:

Electrical Engineering degree plus Electrical Licence (essential)

At least 1 year of experience in the Power Industry

Experience with HV GIS or Generator Circuit Breakers highly regarded

Strong communication skills, team-oriented and customer-focused

Willingness to travel across Australia as required
