Our client is an established SaaS technology business providing a building management platform. With ambitious growth and expansion plans, they have created this brand new role to increase market share in NSW. You will be responsible for leading new business efforts, managing existing accounts, and running the full sales cycle. The role will be a split of 60% new business and 40% account management and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Full sales cycle; prospecting to close & account management
- Business development; generating & qualifying leads, cold calling & door-to-door
- Develop channel & referral partnerships
- Book meetings, run discovery sessions & software demonstrations
- Attend industry events to promote business & generate leads
- Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
- Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell features
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
- Inbound; respond to incoming interest from partners & prospects
Requirements:
- Proven commercial business development experience
- SaaS sales experience
- Hospitality or property tech industry experience (highly desirable)
- Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Experience with business development tools
Non-technical requirements:
- Proactive sales mentality, you aren't afraid of BD/outbound sales
- Methodical & strategic BD/sales approach
- Strong understanding of how to run an efficient sales process
- Focused on long term relationships
- Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
- Customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
