Account Executive - SaaS (SME/MM)

Our client is an established Martech company providing SaaS media solutions. This is a full sales cycle role, focused on new business and a split of 80% outbound and 20% SDR/inbound leads. You will be targeting businesses within the SME & mid-market verticals.
Responsibilities:
- Full sales cycle; prospecting to close
- Business development; generating/qualifying leads, cold calling, mailing campaigns
- Develop channel & referral partnerships
- Book meetings, run discovery sessions & presentations
- Attend industry events to promote business & generate leads
- Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out deals
- Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell
- Maintain healthy sales pipeline of current and future business
- Inbound; respond to incoming interest from partners & prospects
Requirements:
- Proven commercial business development experience
- Proven technology/SaaS sales experience
- Martech industry experience (highly desirable)
- Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Experience with business development tools
- Experience working with channel partners to generate leads & referrals
Non-technical requirements:
- Proactive sales mentality, you aren't afraid of BD/outbound sales
- Methodical & strategic BD/sales approach
- Strong understanding of how to run an efficient sales process
- Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
- Customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills
- High commitment to quality (no shortcuts)
