About the Role
As a P2P Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of driving new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing high-value sales opportunities. This is a pure new business acquisition role, no account management or farming, perfect for a sales professional who thrives on hunting new deals and converting prospects into long-term clients.
You will leverage your expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), AP Automation, ERP sales, or SaaS solutions to sell to finance, procurement, and accounts payable teams. Utilising PipeDrive and a strategic sales approach, you will manage a high-value sales pipeline, drive revenue growth, and be instrumental in expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Engage and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers via calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Drive the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
Deliver consultative sales presentations, demonstrating how our P2P SaaS platform solves complex procurement and payment challenges.
Utilise PipeDrive to maintain real-time sales pipeline data, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to expand your reach and generate high-value leads.
Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation campaigns and conversion strategies.
Meet and exceed KPIs, including lead generation, pipeline value, and revenue targets.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
3+ years of successful sales experience in P2P, AP Automation, ERP, or SaaS solutions.
Proven track record of generating and closing new business, this is a true hunter role!
Experience using PipeDrive or similar CRM tools to manage a high-performance sales pipeline.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
Familiarity with Australian business culture and the ability to engage with local stakeholders effectively.
