About the role

White Knight Marine Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Marine to join our team in Hillarys, Western Australia. This full-time role will involve the maintenance and repair of marine diesel engines and associated equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul marine diesel engines and auxiliary equipment

Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on vessels

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

Provide technical advice and guidance to vessel operators

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with industry regulations

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Diesel Mechanics or a related trade

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a marine environment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Knowledge of marine engine systems and components

Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools
