About the role

Diesels Mobile Mechanics' is seeking a full time, experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Maddington, Western Australia. What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy duty commercial trucks

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues

Dismantle, repair, and major overhauls of diesel engine components including fuel systems and emission control systems

Drive line faults diagnose, repair and overhaul including gearbox, clutch and differential

Test and replace faulty parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications

Maintain detailed job records and provide feedback on vehicle condition and recommended actions

Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Qualified diesel mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' experience working on commercial trucks

Demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines and associated components

Strong knowledge of Cummins engines is favourable

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

A current HR class driver's licence is desired but not essential

Your own basic tools

Ability to work independently and team environments, communicating effectively with supervisors and management
