At Busy Bees at Narre Warren South, we know that great nutrition supports great learning. We're looking for a passionate and organised Chef to join our Hive and help us provide healthy, delicious meals to the children in our care.

About the Role

As our Centre Chef, you will:

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5

Create weekly menus that meet dietary and cultural needs, aligned with Nutrition Australia guidelines

Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment

Manage food orders, inventory and stock rotation efficiently

Work collaboratively with the Centre Director and Educators to support children's wellbeing

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or relevant food handling qualification

Experience working in a childcare environment (preferred)

Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Understanding of allergies, intolerances, and safe food practices

Strong time management and organisational skills

Permanent right to work in Australia
