About the Roles
We are looking for a passionate, experienced Lecturer, Women’s Education, to join our Foundation Skills Team. This position entails you to deliver Women’s Education qualifications including language, literacy, numeracy, foundational skills education and units that underpin gender studies to a diverse group of female adult learners. Specific knowledge is required in the application and implementation of Women’s Education in employment and vocational training.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial experience.
What you will need to apply
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 or TAE40122.
- Studies in Gender or Women's Education or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience using a variety of teaching methodologies to meet the demands of LLN clients, both face-to-face and online.
- A Degree or equivalent in an are relevant to Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Learning.
- Experience in teaching the FSK (Foundation Skills Training Package) qualifications and/or Women’s Education qualifications.
- Ability to assess units from the FSK training package and/or Women’s Education qualifications.
- Ability to contextualise learning for different vocational areas.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
