About the Roles
We are looking for experienced and passionate Lecturers to join our Foundation Skills Team. These positions involve delivering language, literacy, numeracy, and foundational skills education to a diverse group of adolescent and adult learners. Specific knowledge is required in the application and implementation of Foundation Skills in employment and vocational training.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about education and have substantial experience.

What you will need to apply

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 or TAE40122.
  • A Degree or equivalent in an are relevant to Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Learning.
  • Experience in teaching the FSK (Foundation Skills Training Package) qualifications and have a working knowledge of the implementation process for the FSK.
  • Ability to assess units from the FSK training package.
  • Ability to contextualise learning for different vocational areas

Special Conditions
The successful applicants are required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
  • Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
  • May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
  • A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
  • Eligible to work in Australia
