About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
TAFE SA is seeking an experienced, motivated professional to join our Dental Lecturing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and can apply their skills to a broad range of tasks.
You will have recent and relevant industry experience, AHPRA registered in the division of Dental Practitioner (Dental Hygienist, Oral Health Therapist, Dentist) with a minimum of 5 years full time equivalent clinical experience.
Your Technical skills include up-to-date experience in dental hygiene practice, you hold a current Dental Radiography Licence valid in South Australia, demonstrate knowledge of the Australian Dental Council’s Professional Competencies of the Newly Qualified Dental Practitioner (May 2022), specifically for the dental hygienist division, comply with the Dental Board of Australia’s Scope of Practice Registration Standard and associated Guidelines for Scope of Practice.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
