About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Design Drafter to join our reputable utility client. In this role, you will specialise in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) systems, providing critical support in the design and documentation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings including single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, control block diagrams, and conduit/cable schedules.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, local codes, and client specifications.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to translate conceptual designs into accurate and constructible drawing packages.
• Perform quality assurance checks on drawings to maintain high standards and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• 15 to 20 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design drafting, with a focus on the water utility industry.
• Strong knowledge of water industry electrical, I&C, and SCADA design standards for both indoor and outdoor systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD CAD platform.
• Deep understanding of electrical codes and instrumentation standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently with minimal supervision.
