Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Kennel Assistant to help care for dogs in our boarding facility. This hands-on role involves maintaining clean and safe enclosures, feeding and exercising dogs, and providing basic grooming. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments and enjoy providing high-quality care in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect kennels, bedding, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.

Feed dogs according to individual dietary needs and schedules.

Walk and exercise dogs safely and attentively.

Bathe dogs as required, ensuring gentle handling and comfort.

Monitor the health and behaviour of dogs and report any concerns to the supervisor.

Assist with customer drop-offs and pick-ups, including handling dogs and answering basic questions.

Maintain accurate records of feeding, grooming, and exercise routines.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols for animal handling and facility upkeep.
