Groundskeeper and Maintenance Officer wanted for a 1-2year, long-term assignment in the Bedford area!

You will stay on our books but this is effectively a permanent role. You must be a permanent resident, Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an unlimited student or skilled visa to apply for this role.

Pay: $36.31 per hour, with an increase to $37.50 in the next few weeks. Penalty rates and public holiday rates apply, but overtime is unlikely to be required.

Hours: 37.50 per week

Shift: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday

Starts: Very soon! We'll confirm with you and client but start but this role starts as soon as possible.

You'll be working in a small maintenance team but do a lot of work by yourself as well, so you must be able to remain focused and work consistently.

Responsibilities include:

Leafblowing

Locking and unlocking facilities securely

Gardening and pruning trees

Clearing bins from the school property

You'll be trained up to do general maintenance (home-maintenance level) such as replacing locks, touching up doors and other similar responsibilities

Requirements

A 1-2 year commitment to the job

Clear Police Clearance must be applied for

Clear Working With Children Check must be applied for
