About the role

Tesseract ESS' is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business development and achieving ambitious revenue targets for our growing organisation. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression within our dynamic company.

What you'll be doing

Developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand our customer base

Building and maintaining a pipeline of high-quality sales leads and opportunities

Conducting effective sales presentations and negotiations to convert prospects into customers

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences

Analysing sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Providing coaching and mentoring to the sales team to drive performance and professional development

Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to inform our sales approach

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a sales management or senior sales role, ideally within the electricity retail or solar and battery sectors

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of our products and services

Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales reporting tools

Passion for developing and leading high-performing sales teams

Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or a related field
