About the Role

We’re looking for a practical, motivated Project Manager with real-world electrical experience—whether you're a hands-on electrical engineer or a seasoned electrical tradie ready to level up.

You’ll lead the delivery of commercial and utility-scale solar and battery projects (100kW+), from concept to commissioning. Expect to juggle site inspections, sub-contractor wrangling, project scopes, stakeholder briefings, and even a bit of business development. It’s a startup—we all wear a few hats.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing the full lifecycle of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV projects ≥100kW

Leading feasibility, design, procurement, delivery and commissioning

Reviewing designs, drawings and site conditions with a critical, practical eye

Coordinating sub-contractors, scoping works, and tracking delivery milestones

Troubleshooting onsite and providing hands-on technical support when needed

Supporting circular project certifications and working with clients on sustainability goals

What You Bring

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on trade experience in solar projects)

2+ years experience as Project Manager on solar PV systems ≥100kW

Strong technical knowledge of inverters, switchgear, transformers, batteries, cabling

Familiarity with grid connection processes, protection systems and renewable energy regulations

Confidence working across feasibility, design, construction, and commissioning phases

Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and communicate clearly under pressure

Bonus Points For

CPEng status or eligibility

Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PMP or equivalent)

Experience with Indigenous or community-led projects

Familiarity with circular economy frameworks in engineering or procurement
