The Health Information Clerk will be a valued member of Health Information to undertake an efficient and effective administrative/clerical support to AWH and its external custumers. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

  • Provide consistent, high quality customer service as a person of first contact including, telephone, email, enquiries and personal contact with clients
  • Extract reports from the Patient Administration System (PAS) as required and ensure required records are collected from wards, in good order and ready for scanning
  • Work proactively to verify information documented within the medical record pertaining to personal information, health status, treatments, health expenses, insurance and other relevant details is replicated and accurate in the PAS correcting as necessary to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform all components of the medical record document scanning process including preparation, scanning, quality control, validation and approval to meet key performance indicators and work targets.
