Randstad are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a respected and well-established food manufacturing business in Canning Vale. Based within a fast-paced FMCG environment, this is a permanent opportunity offering a strong salary package, job security, and a supportive team culture.

About the Role:
Working on a 4 days on / 4 days off roster, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of automated processing and packaging machinery. Rapid fault-finding ability is essential to help minimise downtime and keep production moving.

This role would suit a motivated electrician who has strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and safety-focused maintenance team who value their employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on production equipment

Diagnose electrical faults quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment

Maintain compliance with safety and food industry regulations

Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues

Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Current A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)

C Class Driver's Licence (essential)

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (required)

Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial environments

Proven ability to fault find and resolve electrical issues quickly under pressure

Experience with PLCs, automated systems, and variable speed drives highly regarded

Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
