About the role

Good Happy & Yumbar - Two iconic Byron Bay health food brands are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to grow our businesses in Sydney. This is a contract role (1-3 months) based in the Sydney region, you will play a key role in driving new business development for our company. This is a short term role, with a very competitive salary and bonus structure, suited to reps with Sydney territory experience in the health food and food service channels.

Contract Aim:
Drive sales for an ice-cream and healthy beverage brand by engaging in new business development in the lead up to Spring. KPI is new stockists, and new prospects.

What you'll be doing

Actively prospecting and generating new sales leads

Conducting sales calls, meetings and presentations to buyers

Negotiating terms and closing new business deals

Educating on product key selling points

Collaborating with our distributors, distributors sales reps and customer service staff

Tracking and reporting on sales pipeline, managing follow up contact, arranging samples to be sent etc

What we're looking for

Proven experience (2+ years) in new business development and sales, preferably working for a food service, or health food distribution company in the Sydney region.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Highly motivated, target-driven and resilient

Ability to efficiently create and plan efficient travel routes to maximise time with buyers and minimise travel time.
