✈️ Travel Claims Consultant – Join a Global Insurer | Brisbane CBD
Are you ready to step into a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? MAYDAY is seeking multiple Travel Claims Consultants to join the high-performing team of a Global Insurance Leader based in Brisbane CBD.
In this vital customer-focused role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers navigating their travel insurance claims, often during stressful or unexpected situations. Your ability to respond with empathy, clarity, and professionalism will have a genuine impact on their experience.

What’s in it for you?
- Location: Stunning offices in Brisbane CBD – conveniently located near public transport
- Pay: $37.91 per hour + Super | Weekly Pay
- Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri 9 am -5 pm
- Start Date: 1st July 2025
- End Date: 2nd October 2025
- Contract: 3-month contract (with potential to extend for those with full working rights)
- Training: Comprehensive on-the-job training and equipment provided
- Culture: Friendly, inclusive team environment with approachable managers and strong support systems
- Hybrid working: At your manager's discretion, once fully trained/ after probation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming travel claims and insurance-related queries
- Build genuine rapport with customers through expert, empathetic communication
- Accurately assess and process claims, issue denial letters where necessary
- Maintain up-to-date records and customer profiles
- Proactively resolve customer issues and ensure expectations are met
- Deliver five-star service, even in high-pressure situations
Who We’re Looking For
- Individuals with prior claims or insurance experience who are excited to branch into travel insurance
- Genuine and empathetic communicators with a customer-first mindset
- Confident professionals who can remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations
- Passionate about problem-solving and delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience in a call centre or customer support environment is a bonus
